Could Potential Foles To Jags Be Good For Titans?

I think sinking a high 1st round pick in a QB is much worse for the Jags. I hope they take Haskins from OSU, cause that guy aint gonna last. He's like another David Garrard.

Davis had more yards than Jeffrey has had in any of the past 4 seasons. He hasn't done a lot since Brandon Marshall left.

Comparing Mariota and Trent Dilfer is a good comparison.

 

Trent Dilfer had an amazing defense and he couldn’t touch Foles numbers. I stated factual information, it’s not about belief. The guy has won early and late in his career, and he also just did the unthinkable 2 years straight. Trent Dilfer not even close to being worthy of a comparison.

 

To add to your reasoning, them getting Foles means they would be set for years with a QB who is solid, but the ceiling isn't that high especially with the limited receiving threats. In turn, they likely would not be drafting a QB who could potentially be better and terrorize us like Watson and Luck.

 

Foles had good offensive weapons and a top D during that superbowl run, the truth is good teams from coaching to both sides of the ball can carry a bad QB.

 

Only, he wasn’t bad and he has shown it multiple years under different coaches/players in Philly. Again, he outplayed Wentz 2 years straight and went toe to toe with Brady...with wins and stats to back it. Hate the guy all you want, be he isn’t bad. Would he be bad here? Probably...but I’m betting he would easily outplay Mariota. Not hard to get 9 wins and 11 TD’s with a decent surrounding cast.

 

His last 4 years averaged 56 cth, 800 yards and 4 TD.

Even with a couple injuries, Jeffery has been close to the same as the top Titans WR each of those 4 years he “misses Marshall”.

Davis is about even with what Jeffery has been since leaving Chicago.
