I have to say, I'm surpised this doesn't happen more often. There's too much money to be made not to try it. Someone that young would not be aware of any deterrent, like fraud, either, so it must be appealing. So I'm suprised more people aren't trying it in the States. and I'm suprised more unscrupulous agents aren't lining up kids to do it. At an advanced age I think you would have a huge chance at being the best player on the field in high school. That head start could give you the opportunity of a liftetime in college.

 

I'm sure this is common.

Permian is a top notch sports school too. Gotta do whatcha gotta do to win the big games.

This is interesting. Our high school had some "developed" guys like most schools do, but I know for a fact they were all legit high school black kids. We did however play teams with nine or more grown men it seemed, and I wondered if they were 22 with kids and a light bill. Maybe they were.

But then again, if you aren't cheating you aren't trying.
