battle has never gotten his fair share to shine but from what i've saw he is a situational player only

Battle has been cut by numerous teams for a reason. He is a battering ram. Game has changed its not 3 yards and a cloud of dust anymore

Our contract status isn't that bad. Especially considering CJ and Wimbley cut. A lot of room for the new coach to work with... with Webster.

CJ frees up TONS of cap space over the next 2-3 years. If you have to argue he is worth it this year, it will be painfully obvious next year.

I would like to see the team suck it up and absorb the dead cap money for 2014. Instead of waiting until after June 1st and pushing most of it to 2015.

I say resign Pollard for two year if the price is right. Verner will get a overpaid deal somewhere else like the Redskins. I think they should use the CJ and Wimbley money after they are cut and try to sign Greg Hardy and Eric Decker. That way we get another play maker on both sides of the ball.

I wanted us to sign Casey during the offseason, but now that we are switching to a 3-4 I think it's obvious we won't sign him.

We'll need to see how he looks in a 3-4.

I feel that a guy like Casey is a guy you build around.

Right, but before we invest a ton of money in him I would like to see how he plays in a 3-4, assuming the plan is to stick with a 3-4 from here on out.

Horton is surely gone next season assuming there are several HC vacancies.

The top four CAP cuts the Titans will possibly make and amount of money saved:

    1. Chris Johnson - Saves only $4 Million in 2014, but $20 Million over the next two years.
    2. Kamerion Wimbley - Saves only $2.4 Million, but cost the Titans $17 Million over next two years.
    3. David Stewart - Saves the Titans $6.4 Million with NO DEAD MONEY in 2014.
    4. Ryan Fitzpatrick - Saves the Titans $3.25 Million with only paying Tyler Wilson $495,000.00

    The "maybe" CUTS for 2014:

    5. Craig Stevens - Saves the Titans $2.4 Million in 2014 having both Walker and Thompson on the roster.
    6. Nate Washington - Saves the Titans $4.8 Million in 2014 and possible trade value with other teams.

That would leave the Titans 2014 spending number at $34.7 Million, $67.4 Million in 2015 and $87.5 Million in 2015. BIG FUTURE NUMBERS with a little sacrifice. I have a very tough time losing Washington and Johnson, even though many fans won't have a tough time saying "goodbye" , especially to CJ.
