  1. Big TT

Big TT Annoying the's what I do.

I would say one definition was to throw away his 100 million contract over stupid **** like dog fighting. Then trying to claim it was part of his "culture".

Even Vick admitted he was stupid about all that ****

Ok let me re-phrase... when evaluating his smartness when it comes to football (on-field decisions, etc...) how does he come across so stupidly?

There we go with the excuse stuff. Can people make argument without resorting to the "It's all excuses" stuff? In response to my point about flies and roaches you literally said "Roaches and flies are ugly, and do very little for 99.999999 percent of humanity's life.". Sounds like you're just making an excuse to not feel bad about killing them.

I don't think what Vick did was right and I do believe dog fighting culture is backwards and abusive but I also try not to apply my morality to other people (of course I fail at times). Killing a person is objectively bad and has been condemned by every single civilization in the history of the world but there are cultures that in this day and age routinely eat what we consider pets and we eat what others consider sacred. My argument is that neither is inherently wrong. It does bother me that he tortured those dogs though. Even as I argue this point I can say that hurting animals the way they did, for fun, is extremely anti-social, almost psychopathic behavior by most standards. What bothers me about what he did isn't that he hurt the dogs, is that he seemed to enjoy it.

Regardless of my personal feelings however, my point isn't that Vick was right in doing what he did but that we are not so holier than thou and there is plenty of blood on our hands. He committed a crime and paid the full penalty. He's shown remorse and tried to at least undo some of the damage he caused. This is what we hope for out of the criminal justice system and we would be fortunate if this was the usual for most "rehabilitated" criminals.

On a purely academic tip though,I would really enjoy seeing some research supporting the assertion that humans are "hard wired" to connect with dogs. I know we've domisticated them for as long as we've been around but that doesn't necessarily mean there's a genetic link (I'm open to being proven wrong about this). I know that owning pets does have a myriad of positive effects but the same could be said about gardening.

    that exactly

It is inhuman too treat a dog the way that puss filled boil of a mouth breather vick did.

Dogs watch the cave so you can sleep. In return they get too knaw on the mammoth bones before you burn them. Its the ancient pact

people who dont understand this are subhumans

and yes if I had too choose I would take in a stray dog and leave the hobo out in the cold too die - every time
