We have shifted from a running QB with questionable accuracy to two QBs that can pass the ball, I'm excited.

Collins won't scramble for much but we can use Johnson and White to run the ball and let Collins hit the receivers in the passing game.

Simms has a lot of upside. He was playing fantastic before they removed his spleen. If he can get to that level and learn our offense, he can pick apart defenses. And he is tough as nails.

    I'm excited.

    Really?

    Chris Simms:
    2004 57.5 pct.
    2005 61.0 pct.
    2006 54.7 pct.

    Kerry Collins:
    2005 56.3 pct.
    2006 46.7 pct.
    2007 61.0 pct.

    Vince Young:
    2006 51.5 pct.
    2007 62.3 pct.
    2008 54.5 pct. 1 game

About the only difference I see between any of them is that VY is able to run too. Adds another dimension that the opponents defense must try to contain.

This game will go a long way in telling us whether these WRs can get it done.

Yea that 1 rush for 4 yards should be a serious threat for opposing defensive coordinators.

Yeah, only take one game instead of the 3 seasons smartass.

    Rushing:

    Chris Simms

    2004 7-14 yards
    2005 19-31 yards
    2006 4- 7 yards

    Kerry Collins

    2005 17-39 yards
    2006 0-0
    2007 3-3 yards

    Vince Young

    2006 83-532 yards
    2007 93-395 yards
    2008 4- 4 yards

Dang, looks like VY's one game is about as good as their seasons.

What's that thing that wins games that Vince can't score?...
OH YEAH! TOUCHDOWNS! Do your research on Kollins's TD record and look at Vince's TD/INT ratio last year. I'm very comfortable with Kollins.

    We can go there too.

Dont know who Kollins is but K. Collins carreer TD/INT
174/172 that's outstanding! One of the best.

Can't find win/loss record but I'm willing to bet his average is less than VY's

at least he has more TDs than INTs. But seriously, I'm pretty sure KFCs completion percentage is what it is because he doesn't always just dump to RBs and TEs, he actually gets his recievers involved. We shall see this weekend.
