    so i was at work and missed the game but I really did read that right?

    CJ 11 carries, 4 yards. Worst game of CJ's career stat wise it said on ESPN.

    So whas our line that awful again? Or is CJ to blame?

    The commentators did not say that. I just rewatched the game. They definitely said that it was the offensive line's fault and that even the best running back in the league would have "only 2 more yards the way this offensive line is performing"

    That would be good advice. I wasn't really talking about fantasy because I've never really played that game, but yea, he will let you down. As you can see from this thread, most of us agree that the cause of our running woes is mainly 3 factors, namely blocking, CJ, and coaching. Also the front office for giving him all that money. The only thing I was trying to say is that the past 2 seasons most defenses have exposed our running game. Again, I don't mean any disrespect to your run defense but just keep in mind that one game doesn't prove that your run defense has improved a great deal. I say that because reading your boards after today's game the common theme is how the Pats stuffed an elite running game. That's all I was really saying is that keep in mind it might be fool's gold. Just maybe.

    Just want it noted, for the record, that I was one of the people suggesting we trade CJ before last season. I got laughed at my most of, you, guess I'm the one laughing now.

    Actually, I don't think CJ is washed up but clearly he is not the same player.

    its been 17 real games and 8 exhibitions - with the occasional beatdown of a couple of pretty real bad run Ds tossed in too get CJsideways 1000 yds - like that is something too twist your dreads tight about
