I hope you're right, he looks like he could be ROTY but there's a lot of competition.

Ubiq, when does a runningback ever average 16 yards a catch? Where did you get that? Marhsall faulk averaged 9 yards in his career. Edge james has averaged 7.8 yards a catch. The average for most backs is around 7.6-8 so johnson is going to double that? Sure..

And if he is only averaging 26 per kick return i would consider that a disappointment.

    Rushing...100 carries...420 yards...4.2 ypc...3TDs

    Receiving...35 catches...325 yards..9.28 ypc...3tds

    Kick Returns......30.....825 yards...27.5 ave....1TD

    Total APY......1520.....7TDs

Now i can see him in 09 getting maybe 150 carries and 50-60 catches which could put him over the 2000 yard mark and approaching 10 TDs but even so he has to have higher than typical averages per touch.

Such a simple thing, LenDale was at his best at USC when he had Reggie Bush to play the other role of the running game. Henry failed to fill that role last year, so they're trying again with someone they're directly comparing to Reggie. Somehow I'm finding a lot of similarities to Atlanta's gameplan a couple years back. Warrick, T.J. and a scrambler in Vick, with the only big-time receiver being Alge Crumpler. ...And we've got the real Alge! Woo!

I'm really looking forward to the run-game. In Johnson and Len we've got the Road Runner and the Load Runner, and when oppositions are so worn down by all this, we've still got Henry to run it right at them (literally, sometimes). Fantastic. :))
