I can understand the talk of Weis leaving ND. I don't understand Chow leaving at this point. He just got started with Vince. If he thinks Vince is going to develop well, another few years would do much more for his resume than the last two...

Chow is 60 years old. He is not getting any younger.

I see that NC State has hired Tom O'Brien away from Boston College. My old friend , BC A.D., Gene DePhillippo is not a happy camper in regards to that.

I'm with Jeff, he doesn't look more appealing since being here. I bet he stays awhile longer.

I think Norm sees what the potential is here in the very near future. I think he stays to enjoy success.

The NFL gives Chow a lot a recruiting cred that he wouldn't have had otherwise. I think as far as a career step it's a solid move. And doesn't detract from his resume'. So I see it as plausible he used this as a stepping stone.

I pretty much read and report everything that gets reported. I never read a quote from Chow saying the only reason he took the job here was to get exposure for a college HC job.

If you want to believe it, so be it. If you want others to believe you, produce a source.

I heard speculation at the time that Chow's ultimate goal was to be a college head coach, but I never heard him say it himself.
