I think it was pretty obvious that Chad was just joking. And now you are trying to infer something else into that has no basis. It has nothing to do with race. He's not disrespecting Phelps. Phelps is recognized as, without a doubt, the world's fastest swimmer. That's why when Chad says he could outswim Phelps, you know he is just playing. He's being very sarcastic. There was no point to it either. It's just way Chad is. It's all in jest. Relax...

 

Chad is a character. People don't understand that, but that's what he is. The Chad 'Johnson' we know isn't the one he is at home on his own watch.
