CBs Verner, McCourty on record pace

Roos, Stewart, Levitre, Walker, Green, Griffin would be on good contracts
CJ, Wimbley & Stevens are as well.

Not sure how long each has left, but we should be cutting the last 3.

Legit reason tho. He never played online so he didn't really know what to expect

 

All of those bolded players could be dumped nexct season and we would save money on our cap. We have no players other then Andy LeVitre and Jason McCourty that has a lot of guaranteed money left which means we have a lot of financial flexibility for the next few seasons.

 

The market value for Verner will most likely be 5 years, 45 million and Casey will be 6 years, 55 million. That's 18 million if it's spread out evenly and that is 100% doable if we clear the overpaid dead weight from our roster (Johnson, Wimbley, Stevens, Stewert)

 

I'm just not sold on Verner man. Ya'll can call me crazy, but I think this is his swan song. He won't ever have a year like this again. He is playing really well and racking up stats, but he also gets beat a lot. JMac>Vern. McCourty has been super solid this year and has been the closest thing to a shutdown corner that we've had in a long time! Vern is getting all the stats because teams rarely throw JMac's way. Everyone has a hard on for ATV this year because he had a great start with all those picks, but I see him get beat every week.
