CBs Verner, McCourty on record pace

Have to bring back Verner long-term. If you think otherwise you're wrong.

 

Should have locked Verner up last season. Now his price is gonna be JMac money which neither is worth.

And who exactly are those guys??? The only guys that I really see helping their teams win more games on a consistent basis are the QBs. I would have no problem letting Vern go if it meant that his money went to landing a real franchise QB. Same goes with CJ use his money to get a QB. Hard thing is that rarely do true franchise QBs hit the market.

I think the real question is would you rather have Verner or CJ because it could come down to that from a cap management standpoint.

 

Verner is playing as well as any CB in the game today. Whereas CJ is playing as poorly as any RB playing today.

Verner all day over C.J.

Cut C.J., it will be the easiest and best thing for us.

 

I love it when you see people suggesting not to pay Vern. Its even more ironic that these are the same people sticking up for CJ.

Vern will be back next year. He is a PICTURE perfect player for this organization, he just comes with an added bonus of being very good. In a passing league, with a guy who breaks up that many passes without drawing penalties, he will be worth every penny. The people who suggest otherwise, really do not know what they are talking about.

 

Im about 98% certain well re-sign Verner.

He's a model citizen before he's a stud CB, those are the guys the Titans pay a 2nd contract to.

 

Exactly, the guy is giving away Bibles and quoting scripture on Twitter like its cool. He will, if not he certainly should, make the pro bowl this year. He is just a great guy to have around.
