CBS has announced that they will double the amount of HD NFL games per week to up to 6 NFL Games per week in HD.

One of our readers, Gary T., compiled the following statistics:

    1. 96% of 2007 NFL games will be broadcast in HD.

    2. Of the 256 games played, only 15 will not be done in HDTV.

    3. Through the season, FOX which has the NFC, will have 8 non-HD games and CBS which has the AFC, will have 7 non-HD games.

    4. Weeks 1, 5, 6, 9, 12 and 15 will be 100% HD.

This is a no brainer. But our field in HD, still a scary thought.
