Thought this was a great decision in Cleveland. Keeping LeBron is huge for the Cavaliers future success on the court. I love the idea of a kid playing with a NBA legend in Shaq. I'm guessing LeBron is siked right about now. Maybe now even with an older Shaq, LeBron can capitalize on his talents. Finally LeBron may have some real help in getting a title for the Cavs. 2010 is looking just a little further away now. I know the Knicks must be like 'damn' right about now.

Boy think of the ratings for LeBron and Shaq vs. Kobe. I bet the NBA is having a celebration party right now.

The interesting thing here is that; this is the one piece that the Cavaliers haven't had. Big bodied players are how Phil Jackson won several of his rings. The formula is to have a big man (Shaq), an all around great player (LeBron), and some reliable bench help (which is what the whole Cavaliers squad is). I truly believe the Cavaliers get back to where they left off in the conference finals. As of today they have to be the favorite in the east. Especially with a Magics team that cant beat the elite. I still see Boston as a problem and the Bulls are serious when in the zone so the Cavs could get to the finals as a 1 seed, easily beating a Hawks team or other low ranked five while the 2nd & 3rd best teams have to fight real competition to get to the next level.

This is just going to make it more embarrassing next year when LeBron and the Cavs fall short once again.

The Cavs were already terrible against Orlando's pick and roll last year. Adding Shaq is just going to make that worse.
