Carter's Agent Speaks to Titans

    SUMMARY: The agent representing Kevin Carter has contacted the Titans about their interest in bringing back the DL who played for Tennessee from 2001-2004. "We've spoken and we hope to speak more," agent Harold Lewis said. "It's definitely a place he would like to come home to." The Titans could use help on the defensive line who struggled against the run in 2006. "He's got a lot of gas in the tank," Lewis said. "He's better at 33 than he was at 32 and he was better at 32 than at 31. He's never missed a game or a practice since he's been in the league. He'd be a perfect fit. We'll see what happens."

    Iwould love to see Carter come back to the Titans. Having watched him play a lot in Miami he still seems to be a much better than average Dlineman. He can still stop the run and rush the QB but just as important if not more so is his leadership on and off the field. It would be an excellent pickup for us if the $$$ are right.

    get him and Kerney and our d will improve greatly. Although I'd still like to see us grab a solid DB, wether that's one of the lesser-known FAs or from the draft.

    I don't think we need KC to be a "difference-maker", just solid and dependable...Instead of a hole in the line. We've got pass-rushers - Laboy can get to the QB, he just sucks against the run. KVB is KVB. He won't come off the field until they make him...

    We need KC to be a solid, dependable, leader. That's why I hope he comes home.
