His memory is clearly hazy...Defending Munchak lol. He hasn’t been a head coach since. Back to the OL where he is good. He went 9-7 to 6-10, to 7-9. Right direction is losing? Then he fought for assistant coaches and refused to change after 2 our of 3 losing years which cost him his job....

It mean, the play was incredible- but it was a fluke.

 

But yet your praising cyprien for the W because he took out Kelce but wasn't that a fluke too? I'm not even bragging about the td catch too himself. That's my least favorite highlight of his 2017 season

 

Praising? No. Simply saying- if you're giving one mediocre player credit for a few good plays- be fair about it.

It's amazing the treatment Mariota gets. Immune to praise- and it was that Chiefs game that caused it. Before that, we were all pretty much like "this guy might suck".

 

The thing about the Chiefs game is that Mularkey thought his job was on the line. He sat Biscuits in the 2nd half and allowed MM8 to call the plays, and everyone saw the Titans true potential. It was a tale of two halfs, night and day.

Once he thought his job was secure, Mularkey was back to the same BS playcalling against NE and we all know how that played out.

My point is that MM8 proved to many people in those two games where the problem was all season. It wasn't with QB play, that's for sure.

 

Remember in Munchak's first year and the Titans looked like a playoff team and then tried to ruin the Colts "suck for luck" campaign by giving the 0-13 Colts their first win and crushing any chance at the playoffs?
That was fun.
Then he followed it up with a 6-10 season and 7-9 season.

Pretty subtle "upswing" for a team with a losing record still. Munchak took this team the wrong direction and Whiz made it worse.

 

No. I firmly remember ppl worried that our coaching staff would suck and interfere with us winning a playoff game. We all mostly wanted to see Mariota take control of the offense away from Robiskie and be more aggressive with his legs.

And you need to refresh your memory. It was more than a few plays that won us the game

 

I was talking to Marcus the other day and he said he anticipated the defender throwing his arms up and timed it perfectly and purposely threw it right at him for it to come back to him....pure genius

 

In Madden, that should be a 99 awareness.
