Rumor Browns possibly shopping CB Joe Haden

He's missed some games due to concussions, who does that besides QBs?

That being said, I'd send a 3rd for him right away. We know the Browns and their GM love the moneyball system, they just want picks!!

 

I severely doubt the Browns are even looking at a first round for Haden, much less going to get one.

I see it being a 2nd or 3rd rd, or maybe even a combination of 4th rounders. I think he definitely worth a day 2+ pick with how good and young he is.

The reality is we desperately need secondary help, and our two current draft picks don't look like they are going to turn out too great.

 

I'd give them the Rams 1st for Haden and their 2nd.

27 is young....CB's can play for years....I'd take him

 

Obviously it depends on how much they want, but also it depends on how much he would cost us for his contract. He is currently signed through 2019 with a base salary of about $11M every year. That's a hefty sum, but we are still flush with cap space.

It kind of depends on if we're planning on hitting free agency harder this upcoming year or not. That's where we would spend a lot of our money. We won't have to pay Marcus for another 3 years so it might be smart to get someone like Haden who is proven and can help NOW, and then when Marcus' paycheck comes due, look to the draft for Corner help.

 

Currently on the downswing. Hasn't played great this season. Coming off injuries. His best is behind him. He might be worth trading for but you can't expect him to be that true #1 anymore.

 

Rate him compared to our DB's.

 

Probably better than Cox, at least I would hope. Lol.
