To be honest I think this front 7 would be better suited in a 3-4

 

Maybe but we don't have a true NT, we need another LB, and an additional LB just in case McCarthy goes down (well eventually). Then with the new scheme it'll take at least a year for everyone to get comfortable in it and by then people will be complaining that we should've never changed in the first place.

Let's not forget just overall bigger DL because we're not that good against the run either.

 

The only thing that scares me with Locker is his accuracy. It was a big problem in college and its the same thing here. Its like Tebow on accuracy but Locker throws cannons. I'm scared though, this is another setback whether we like it or not. The only hope I will have is to get rid of the coaching staff and hopefully a new coaching staff will change things. I still say start with Defense then worry about the offense. We need a defense that causes turnovers and puts pressure on the opponent.
