I'd take Brees for a 2nd rounder all day even if it's for a 2-3 years, you sh*ttin me. I'd even throw in Griff, Mccluster, and Blidi just for the hell of it.

absolutely for a 2nd round pick.

#1 overall? Never, unless it was 2005, and Brees was 10 years younger.

Anyone willing to trade any picks for Brees didn't watch too many of his games last year.

One year from retiring, at best.

4950 yards and 33 Tds with 650 pass attempts... yeah he sure does suck lol.

It would be a pipe dream to trade our #2 overall for him. And we would instantly be able to contend for the playoffs.

On the decline for a great QB, but still a cream dream season for any Titans QB, including Air McNair. But the Saints were piss poor last year around him.

Hasn't had a season under 3,000 yards passing in a decade. Only 1 year since then with under 4,000.

He's worth any pick you could throw at him, other than straight up for a 1st rounder, IMO.

Those stats don't tell the story. He has lost considerable arm strength, and made some serious questionable decisions last year.

What would be his motivation from going to a Saints team, that is now not looking at another championship with him, and going to the Titans who are still another year or two from making noise?

I think people are looking for a Denver/Manning situation, and that is not how it is going to turn out. We don't have the team capable of making a push with him.

The true story is he was under considerable more pressure last season than the couple prior due to poor o-line play. And he still was a baller.

I really think there is something wrong with you all that don't see the value in Brees.

Definitely not for the Titans. Doubtful he would elect to come here, unless forced by trade. And I doubt they really want to tread water for even more years by picking up a QB who is almost at the end of the line. But if he were up for trade for a 2nd rounder.... I personally would take that.. We throw away picks like they're dirty bathwater anyway.

I am on your side in the silliness of the idea of the #1 pick, But I think he does have a couple years left, but he is not even close to the prime of his game.
