Rumor Brees going to Tampa for 1st overall pick?

    Is that not the expectation when you're taking him #1?

    The gamble of him(or any other top tier QB prospect) working out for 15 years versus three years of Drew Brees is worth the risk, IMO.

    Winston. The guy most agree is the best QB prospect in the last 10 years not named Luck.

    If it only took #2 and #33 to move up to #1 and take Winston like JCBRAVE said I'd be inclined to do it. I think however, it would take more than that.

    Drew Brees is best staying put, you put him with Whisenhunt and youre probably at a later point going to smash your head into a wall.

    We better at least have inquired although I think this rumor is bs. Would I give up our #2 for Brees? Yes.

    I thought Whiz does a decent job with smart QB's i.e. rothelisberger, warner, rivers

    Well his style is take the top off the defense, that fits well with Rivers and Roelisberger, but Brees operates best in the 10-yard range, I just see the 2 clashing and not working out.

    Brees' arm is also slipping, so again not the best fit for our vertical offense..

    Problem with Brees is that his cap number is like 25 million this year and next. However, with our offensive line Brees might be retired by week 8. Brees would have taken less money the saints wouldnt be blowing their team up now

    He has to run a lot where he's at to find open lanes due to his height, he might survive behind our line because he rolls out a lot. But again, not what our HC calls. Mett and Locker rolled out very little.
