Tell us more. I've considered going but have heard a lot about problems (traffic, things broken, etc.).

We got there Friday morning and drove right up to the front gate and in. Nobody we really wanted to see Thursday, so we avoid the intial onslaught of people getting in. Our campsite was about half mile from the entrance to the stages. We would cook before going in, and then eat once (or twice) in the stage area. Food pretty good in there, most things 6-8 dollars. There is plenty of free water, carry some and keep hydrated. Plenty of portapotty's, and they clean them regularly.

I never saw anyone get mad, everyone very friendly and considerate. Even in a crush of people you'd hear "sorry, excuse me" when things got tight. I carried a little lawn chair, which saved my back. My son could sit on a blanket without issues.
The people watching is unbelievable, never a dull moment. All kinds of things to do besides listening to the bands.

Since we came in late and parked so far from the stages, we got onto the highway late Sunday night without sitting in much traffic. People who parked closer to the stage area had to wait longer to get out onto the highway, but once you got there it was flowing with no problem.
You could camp Sunday night and leave sometime Monday if you wanted to.
    I'm definatly going back!!

I had also heard they were thinking about doing other events there throughout the summer specific to one type of music. I'd love to go up for a blues fest.

Hoffa, judging by your appearance - I can't believe you left before the Kanye West set. haha
And it's alright if you wet yourself. I have a friend that went last year. Well...

Oh, but let him tell it and his "backpack water pack leaked".

Quad-times, ewwwwww! Gloat, it's alright. Your "friend", eh? Sure. You could have at least turned your back, had a lookout and "watered" the grass!

I was still there during the Kanye West fiasco, I was just asleep.

The cooler really did get turned over...I'd get Depends before I'd do that...:ha:
