    From ESPN.com:

    "Dec. 13 News:
It is believed that Scaife is only suffering from a sprained ankle, not a high ankle sprain which takes longer to heal. However, the agent of practice squad tight end Cooper Wallace said that his client has been promoted by the Titans. No word yet from the team, the Tennessean reports.

    Dec. 12 News:
Scaife underwent an MRI on his ankle Monday but the results were not made public, the Tennessean reports. Coach Jeff Fisher called him "day-to-day". "

Why won't kinney be able to play next season? Did I miss something? What takes over a year to heal?

  6. He had microfracture surgery on his knee. It's basically a desperation move for athletes trying to stay in the game.

It's what Terrell Davis tried before he finally retired.

That's terrible, I just heard surgery and no further description. I hope he can come back, he was a great guy.

Kinney has good hands and blocks well, but his production receiving is pretty pathetic. For a guy his size, he goes down like a ton of bricks. I can't remember him ever breaking a tackle. I think Scaife is much better.
