"hes too good to ever be anything less than excellent."

Many talented people don't perform. And why would he quibble over how his salary would be divided up? It was nothing but his ego which cause him not to be signed. I don't care what he does in DC. He alone will not take them to the playoffs.

    Albert who?

(while I'm only joking now... I guarantee he's forgotten league-wide within 2 seasons)

If that's the case, what happened those first four years he was here? He didn't suddenly become more talented.

I agree with what somebody said before. He's happy to whine and moan about how awful Tennessee was to him, but he quickly forgets that we were the ones who were there when everybody else wanted him out of the league and we were there before that paying his salary when he wasn't doing anything. He seems to have forgotten about all that that.

Even if this is true, it will happen only 1-2 times before Hayneworth retires since the Titans play the Redskins once every 4 years (and they will never meet in the Super Bowl because the Redskins aren't going to make it there).

I'm inclined to believe that Haynesworth is lying or at least misrepresenting the truth regarding the one million dollar thing, but I'm even more inclined to just ignore everything he says.

Who cares about Albert? He's in the NFC on a crap team. He no longer matters in the world of the Titans.

So what do you guys think? Given the size of the deal and how NFL contracts have fake years and back loaded money, how long will Fat Al be a Redskin? I say they dump him in 3 years. Just a hunch.

lol he entered the league as a 20 year old... playing arguably the toughest position in the PROS. i guess if he was the real deal he shoulda instantly entered the league as the most dominant force in the nfl... my bad.

i honestly think some people are in DENIAL. albert is the best. he will be missed. and he will continue to be a huge influence in the games that he plays in.

if you say anythin other than albert is a dick and no one is worth 40mil guaranteed, the titans would benefit from keeping him on the team, but we have to part ways..... then u live in fantasy

I think Al made some good points especially about paying the O-linemen. Titans should have locked him up the year before but NO. Then we had some fans crying that he couldn't produce back to back...well he did.

I feel like Albert a little bit...i hope he's a beast and all of these same fans that keep crying that he's fat, fake injuries, look stupid in the end.

He will not be a top 5 DT over the next 7 years. Mark my words.

That doesn't mean he will suck, but he'll definitely be doing a lot of :grrr::grrr::grrr:-sitting.
