the deal on the 80 is that the EUR version was manufactured without the Emotion Chip which was needed to play back catalog games
they're trying to do it now with emulation instead of hardware

this is nothing special - as it's retail for all the components. the 80gb package w/ Motorstorm is $599. the Madden game is like $60 (which you should be able to pick one up used for much less) and the controller is like $40(and there are now 3rd party controllers for half that)
you could probably piece the system together and save yourself some bones


the 5 free Blu-Ray is available for new Ps3 purchases regardless of where you buy it - thru the end of the month


you can buy the 60gb unit and still get the 5 br movies for $499
