    Adam Schefter, of NFL Network, reports the Oakland Raiders have signed free-agent TE Ben Troupe (Buccaneers). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    Another wasted signing by the Raidahs

    Don't know why anybody would sign with Oakland right now, but it might have been his only oppurtunity to play. Hope he does well.

    It's either Oakland or the Arena League. If he can start picking up his game, you could consider it an audition for a better team. Though he hasn't gotten it with two teams so far, it's not likely things will change now.

    Even thought we all dislike him, if the Raiders signed him for a reasonable (LOW) price, it's a good idea. They throw some money at a guy who has upside and if he doesn't pan out they'll cut him. In terms of risk/reward, it's not like they gave up anything.

    But yes, Troupe is probably done.
