I’m betting Bell doesn’t end up in the AFC South. I could see Foles going there though....
Bell is a prima donna and a locker room cancer. That's what they need In Texas. Foles has never been an effective starter in the league for very long. He is a relief pitcher at best. I hope the Jags sign him and dump some of the defensive talent they have in our direction. No worries Mate !
Jets “upgraded”from Geno Smith to Ryan Fitzpatrick then maybe again to McCown.
Just upgrading bad QB to not starter is still nothing to worry about. If the Jags go after Foles, they still have a backup as their starter. Plenty of reason not to care if that’s how they want to overspend their money.
Come on now. Foles is better than all those guys. The guy is a super bowl mvp for god's sake.
Also, calling him "just a backup" is a bit naive. ONLY reason he was a backup this year is because PHI had a guy they spent the 2nd overall pick on just two years prior.
Is he better than those guys?
SB MVP, he most overrated accolade given to any player. That really means he either played well in that particular game or played QB and no one else played good enough to earn it, “of course we all remember every single player that won SB MVP is going to have long successful careers” says no one.
That’s also not “the only reason” he’s a backup in Philly. He’s a backup in Philly because in his second year as starter in Philly, they felt they could do better and let him go to backup in KC, then got a starting gig in STL which he failed at, then Philly got him back to be the backup of that draft QB, who they drafted while Foles was available to be “starter”if they wanted.
Foles might be a top tier backup QB, at best.
You typically want a backup QB that can win you 2, maybe 3, games. Foles is top tier and can win you 4-5.
I'm just not convinced he can do a full season.
Yeah well, he just won 6 outta 7....sooooo
name names then, lets see how short this list goes
(I ain't even left the AFC South Yet)
