Munch is like Johnson. Willfully taking the cash while being wholly aware that they are not the answer in each particular case. He won't go of his own accord ; Tommy-boy needs to grow a pair , push the button , clear out the joint from all the Munchak hangers-on and get a seasoned coach who can then draft the players he wants to fit his scheme and the coaches that can implement it.

 

I agree with this. The fault lies solely on Bud/the front office's shoulders.

It's not like Munch is going to say "no" to the offer of running an NFL team. He just should have never been in the conversation, and many people saw it. You don't go from overseeing a group of 5 people on the field, to running an entire team with scheming, personnel, etc.

He was not qualified, and of course it didn't work out. Munch is an O-line coach. a good one. He is in over his head as a head coach. And so would most coaches who have never schemed an offense or defense before.
