Bears deny Titans request to talk to Tice

Mariucci would be nice, Childress's relationship with his players concerns me.

 

I'm not totally bummed out that Chicago denied us permission to interview Tice, I'm more worried about how desperate we look now. Whoever we do end up getting will know they weren't even the 1st or 2nd option BEHIND Callahan and Tice.

 

Read my mind. Would rather have Callahan.

 

HELL NO to Brad Childress.

 

I think Mariucci may be to high profile to step down to OC. But I think Childress needs to rebuild his image and would gladly step down and into that role successfully if he's interested. I, however, would like to see us get creative. We need to try something new. But god help all these coaching candidates because I honestly believe that without a Cam Newton type player they will be trying to orchestrate a punchless offense with little to no hope to get better anytime soon. Fisher saw it too. And he's no dummy. He got out fast after watching the debacle without VY last year.

There's no attraction to coach here. I think we'll need to reach a bit and get creative.

If Tice sucks so bad why won't Lovie smith cut him loose much less not allow us to even talk to him? They must think he is a man of value.

I got an idea, let's interview somebody no team considers worth a damn that would be progress!

 

Tice would have been a damn good guy to have. Better than Weis or Clements or Childress.

Who will be next? Frank Reich?
