Not all rap is the same. And I guarantee no one in here can make a quality rap song, yet it's for kids?

If you believe that it's easy then hell I can make a rock song.

I was king of internet battle-raps about 10 yrs ago.

I wish I could say I've moved on, but this thread gives me butterflies.

Like snow sittin' on the Metro, your dome can get split.
We're cave-men with afros... seems we got a bone to pick.

I always think it's funny when people say rap is easy. I always simply respond: Then why aren't you cashing in? Or... do it.

    They never do though.

Rapping is easy, free styling is tricky. Anyone could sit down and throw together a song, when I was 14 I used to download instrumentals and reword some songs. It was fun to do here and there, but I was never into it enough to keep with it.

Then make a track for us.

If you think it's easy, you're probably awful at it. (just the way it goes)

Freestyling is easier, imo... it's the set up for writing.

I'm very confident I could prove you wrong.

I don't play drums well (nor can I really sing worth a damn) - but I could do all the rest - and damned good job of it.
All the writing, tracking - instruments, vox and mixing.
As far as "rapping" over the music goes that's going to be subjective and probably based on whatever trend you kids think is "quality". I don't swim in that sh*t because it doesn't appeal to me - but I assure you with a few weeks' observation I could work up a sound product that would would qualify. It would be far easier to learn than any of the other stuff I've had to thus far..

My early years doing older hardcore vox I used to have the knick "Fed Ex" (because of the old Fed Ex commercials where the guy spit out a hundred words a second). Even today my vocalist hates me because I'll write stuff overtly wordy that he cannot accommodate (he's a "singer" type).

So you have the experience to make rock songs? What do you play?
