Mingo should not be a conversation for the titans. He's not close by any stretch of the imagination. Kearse was light at 250. Mingo is 240 which is decent for a lb, not a 4-3 de. And his ability to rush the passer is not worth the chance. He's the ultimate Tweener as he's really a pass rushing 3-4 olb (and he's light for that too) and can he stack and shed, can he learn how to play as a lb and can he learn to cover? I don't even have Mingo as a first round talent.

The closest guy to nearer is dion Jordan though he was asked to cover a lot so he doesn't have as much dominant pass rush film but you could project him there as his upside much like. I pare Ansah's upside to JPP.

I agree that Mingo is too small for a 4-3 defensive end especially with the Titans emphasis on getting bigger up front. Plus, I would not pick a 1st rounder at #10 who at best a 4-3 pass rusher in situations and will get blown off ball often in run situations.

Mingo will likely be chosen by a 3-4 team looking for OLB/pass rusher in 1st round.

I see Mingo in play at #9 NYJ & Naw'lins.

If Mingo was tall like jodan you could argue that he can get a little bigger but he is only 6'2 which is short for a first rd DE to begin with. Big tackles(No small tackles in the nfl) can get over the top of him as well as over power him. Good blocking TEs can handle him on running plays.

I'm not the best person to evaluate him because i'm not a big fan of speed rusher types anyway. I would rather get an all around guy like Carridine or Jones. Sheldon Richardson is looking better every day.

I love speed rushers, you're not being biased against Mingo. All of that was spot on.

Hey anybody know what Mingo is pushing on the bench these days? I see he didn't lift at the combine or his pro day.
