    The best thing to happen to Nirvana was Cobains death.......it freed the real talent in the band,Dave Grohl.

    I like quite a few Nirvana songs but a lot of their stuff was just noisy crap. In Utero is my favourite album.

    Saw a very long documentary on Cobain. Poor guy was really messed up with clinical depression. Drugs just amplified everything.

    Michael Stipe really tried to help him but he was a lost cause.

    I'm abstaining.

    I'd like to give props to Nirvana for chasing away the LA hairband silliness, but MTV attempted to canonize Cobain posthumously, and that just pissed me off. From what i understand, Novoselic and Grohl weren't too happy about it either.

    Dave Grohl is the real talent in Nirvana, that's correct. But my god, if you chose Papa Roach, you should be banned from listening to music for life. Epic fail.
