Like NES, SNES, Sega Master System, Genesis, etc. Just wondering how they work and if anyone has any recommendations.

I use them every now and then if I get bored. I have an NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis one. Each with about 100 or so games.
Some have bugs, and playing on a keyboard is kind of complicating. But they're fun for a little while. Punchout, Mario Bros, Contra, etc.

I always wondered if guys got sick of playing on keyboards and tried to adapt old school controllers to their puters. Thought it may not be possible, but I don't think I'd like most of the old games on a keyboard.

I've really just felt the need to play old stuff like Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Punch Out, Excitebike, Phantasy Star, etc. Got bit by a nostalgia bug when a friend recently showed me he had a NES. We had to fire up some Contra :grrhee:

I got a USB controller that looks like a PS2 controller for use with such fun toys.
