Anyone notice Gary Bracket's version of the horse collar on VY?

    He did drop his weight, every pound of it on his back and legs. If VY would have fallen more awkwardly (or unluckily, however you want to put it), it would have been more force than a normal horse collar.

    there is a difference between dropping your weight and jumping on someone's back. there is only one way to go when you jump on somone's back, and that's down.

    The horse-collar may very well have happened, but there are 20 penalties a game that don't get called. No "excessive celebration" on the kick at the end with time still left on the clock for example. Hell, there were players in street clothes in the middle of the field.

    True, lots of penatlies get missed. But this would could have had serious consequences.

    He was careful when he tackled Vince as he wasn't wearing a jock. Vince had faked him out of it 10 yards earlier.

    Not only that..as Brackett is taking him down, Bob Sanders comes flying in and gives Vince a bulldog.

    That replay looks ugly the more you watch it.
