Well if we lose out I can see (out of teams who might take a QB) the 49ers and maybe Cardinals passing us in the draft so that would be good. Really depends on what the Bengals do. Sadly Luck is probably going #1 but I would love it if he didn't and give someone else a shot at him. If not him than I'd like to see Mallett and I've heard so many good thing about Locker, I just haven't seen enough of him. My biggest concern is the down year he had and that he might have "Matt Schaub syndrome" meaning all stats and no wins.

 

Our draft pick won't be as high as people think. It may not look like it now, especially since we've lost 6 straight, but even if we win one more, we may be out of the top 10.

The Panthers have been very committed this season, similar to the Texans and Titans in '05. Just lose, baby.

 

True. We have a shot against the Texans. Probably wont beat the Colts. Chiefs, probably not if Cassel plays. Both Colts and Chiefs need to beat us for their playoff push. If we lose to the Texans I'm thinking we lose out.

 

The teams given up, they seen a chance to maybe make a run to the playoffs and put together one decent half against the Colts. I see us losing out.

 

I wouldn't mind Akeem Ayers or Von Miller (probably 3-4 OLB though). Both would be an upgrade. Witherspoon started out great, but seems to get worse every week. Although I don't think OLB is our biggest need. Akeem or Von would also be a reach if we took them Top-10 IMO.

 

A big reach, would love one of them or carter in the second round.
