    BTT: Art amazes me because te artists make it look so easy. In my propbuilding job I've been able to try my hand at some artwork and it's turned out fairly well; but this island is COVERED in art... there is art everywhere! Galleries all over the place!
    I had to giggle a bit one day when I was walking the Lahaina waterfront (a tourist mecca with lots of galleries) and I heard some redneck tourist exclaim "who the hell goes to Maui to buy art??". Wow.. if you've never been out of the trailer park before you could easily forget that there's people with boatloads of money who go art shopping on tropical islands all the time... or that there's people who actually live on tropical islands with boatloads of money.
