If it is doable without giving up a 1st, we need to go after Wilson!

I was reading in the other thread about the "State of the Titans". Sad to say I missed it, but someone was saying how depressed KB was, and how he was talking about us still rebuilding.

I like Keith a lot as a player, but he is no leader.

Al Wilson would elevate every player on the defense with his leadership ability. He did it in high school. He did it at UT. And he's done it with the broncos.

Not to mention he is an incredible player.

I was fortunate to meet him a few times while I was at UT, and he was a real cool guy too.

IMO, Wilson is more valuable than anyone that was available as a FA or anyone that has been traded this offseason.

A pro-bowl Middle linebacker who can stop the run like none-other... yeah I think we could use that...

every team could use an Al Wilson. one of the top 3 players to come out of UT.

    Failed a physical?

    That's not good..

Al wilson has been in the league 8 years and has made 4 pro bowls. No small feat in a conference that has had gay lewis, t. spikes, zach thomas. If the same al wilson that made those pro bowls were available i would say go get him. I don't think that is the case.

Problem is wilson was injured and missed the pro bowl this year. I think the writing is on the wall that he is no longer the same player. The fact the broncos are shopping him and the failed physical. He is now 30. I think it best to stay with our 2 young guys and look at greater areas of need.
