AJ Green likely suspended? (update: nope)

Green not suspended.

 

League announces no suspension for AJ Green. That is crazy to me. At least 3 punches, 2 rear naked choke holds, and 2 body slams ... and no punishment. hahaha

 

My takeaway: if someone punches you, then fight back to the satisfaction of yourself. Because the refs will not handle it fairly, the league will not make it right in retrospect, and you will be punished equally, regardless of rather you fight back or not.

 

I've seen enough to know that this team struggles mightily against a top tier WR. Throws the entire defense out of wack, no matter how poor the OL is (see: Jacksonville last year and Houston this year). The good news is that unlike those teams, Cincinnati has an awful HC. The defense is talented, but competition hasn't really affected how we've looked on offense, as it's been underwhelming almost every week.

 

It was a Read Naked Chokeslam ... a very rarely seen variation of the classic chokeslam.

 

I didn't want to give you a WTF rating because it's negative.

Meanwhile a game for Evans, because he reacted by tackling a guy that made contact with Winston. So, to recap:
a tackle between the whistles:
League: " It is unacceptable and must be managed out of the game."

A felonious assault?
League: "Ah, what can you do? That's just part of playing football."

Side Bar: Mankind should of received a huge F'in paycheck for that performance. One of the best matches of all F'in time.

Madness from the league. Yet they wonder why fans whinge about inconsistency. Sod's law says AJ will go off for 100+ yds and 2 TD's next week. Saw a funny comment on another site saying:

Chokehold, punching, another chokehold, more punches. No suspension. But make sure you drug test him this week. Don’t want him smoking anything to mellow him out.
