downing running what Vrabel wants... same as the other OCs Vrabel has hired... O has not really changed IMO

 

Way I’ve heard it is that quality asst coaches won’t come work with a HC who has a quick trigger to fire. So if he fires Downing, he better have a better replacement on board.

 

sadly THAT would not be difficult... heard Robiskie is availble & superior as OC

I fully agree that’s going to be a huge problem,

Only guess is that some big contracts are about to fall off or at least have a much cheaper out this year.

 

Before the season began I posted all of this below and had AJ Brown around the 14th best WR. I did have DK metcalf ahead no matter the comparison as it’s subjective anyway.
You make the call on whether you think Brown should have gotten $25 mil/season and was a top 5 paid WR before the season started.
You can even debate after this season so far.

I still don’t think he was worth that, specifically in Tennessee, but there’s some subjectivity here.

Ftr, Brown was not That close to Hill. Much closer to mike Williams or Marvin Jones

My vote would be Frank Reich...good choice to develop Willis IMO, and Vrabel seemed pretty defensive of him when he was whacked by the loose cannon Colts owner.

 

Why anyone would think brown would duplicate his numbers in Philly while still in Tennessee is delusional.
