The pettiness is strong in that clip. Brown is overpaid, yes, but the market skyrocketed for receivers. He's a top 5-10 receiver though.

I mean, if it's going to come to a contract dispute that him and his reps just won't give any edge room on, you bet we no longer want him -- he is definitely coming out to be a DIVA.

And especially considering EVERY year he has had lower body injuries - one nagging for an entire season requiring off season surgery, and all others missing multiple games.

The market be what it is, he just definitely did not meet the consistency to warrant "TOPPING" other teams WR market deals -- and neither do WRs like Deebo..


I'm sorry, but he was injured WAY TOO OFTEN to just give him that sort of a guaranteed stimulus.......... it is what it is.


It is frankly sickening that garbage teams are the ones driving up each market each year --- because Jacksonville is such a horrible franchise, that they have to throw the checkbook at them --- and then that doesn't bode well for teams managing properly.

AJ Brown is no longer a WR for the Tennessee Titans. He is a WR for a team in which it’s city has to grease the light poles during big games, because the fans are so dumb, they try to climb them drunk. Let’s try and stay on the facts please.

 

He is currently a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, and this is a Tennessee Titan forum.

 

by the eye test he can be in the right system. I think the Eagles think they can get top 5 production out of him. We'll just have to see if the Eagles use him a bit better than we did.

 

And you think that's because Art and Downing told Tannehill not to throw to him?

It's one thing to try to force the ball to someone, which I agree we could of done more of, it is another to simply not get targeted on a pass play.

 

Devonta Smith, who Hurts had chemistry and history with ended up with 64/915/5 TDs...add in Hurts running I'm not sure AJ's number are any better than here.... certainly not worth 25 mil a year if that's the case
