I think the Colts line is overrated, Manning rarely holds on to the ball long, and is smart with the ball. I think that keeps the sack #'s down a whole lot. The respect other teams give their pass game could open up the run game, in theory anyway. It seems like we always play to cover the deep ball against them. Besides that, I watched them close at times and no one stuck out as being really good (sorry, not even Scott).

I'll go Titans, but the Jags may be right there or even a little better. They always seem to be a good steamrolling line. I think our group is very well rounded and there's no one like an aging Pillar to really cause problems.

Not IMO. I never thought Scott or Lilja were very good. Tarik Glenn, Jeff Saturday and Ryan Diem always made them look better than they were IMO. Good luck with Jake. Don't expect much.

    Just my .02.

    Well...

This was a tough one. In terms of talent, I think the Titans have a slight edge over the Colts and Jags. Man for man, I think we're better.

I think the Jags are the best run blocking team and the Colts OL appears to be the best due to Manning and their system.

You do realize that the Texans gave up fewer sacks than the Titans last season don't you?

Tell that to David Carr. His whole career he's been on the ground.

Carr held on to the ball for way too long. That was a big part of the problem. The stats in Carolina bear that out.

    Carr- 13 sacks/4 starts =3.25 sks/start
    Delhomme- 5 sacks/3 starts =1 and 2/3
    Moore- 6 sacks/3 starts =2
    Testaverde- 9 sacks/6 starts =1.5

Besides, I think the Titans line is better anyways. VY gets sacked a lot when he scrambles. Also, the Titans run block better.

    (Nice V10Y.)
