    Kerry Freakin Collins has thrown for 5 TDs in the past 2 games. That's a 16 game average of 40. The only thing stopping Kerry or Vince or Rusty from throwing 40 TDs a year is the players themselves. The last two games proves it's not the system.

    may i point out that those were against the texans and colts. not exactly top tier defenses.

    and how in the hell did you turn a 2 game streak into a 40 TD season??

    My post wasn't discounting Rodgers in any way, shape or form. I agree he's an elite QB. I was just pointing out that Driver is miles better than Gage.

    Bipolar pretty much nailed it on his first post.

    Go look at Aaron Rodgers stats vs VY's stats. Yes, stats can tell the story in such circumstances.

    I don't want to hear "VY has a better record as a starter" nonsense. I'm a VY fan and still want him to be our QB with Fisher gone, but there is no way in hell I'd take him over Aaron Rodgers.

    This is almost as dumb as the time (back in May or June) when my friend said he would take Brett Favre over Aaron Rodgers going into the 2010 season.

    I made a thread about that as well. Anyone who chose Favre should feel like a complete fool.

    My friend denies saying such things as of today, but I had three witnesses who distinctly remember his dumb@ss saying he would take Favre over Rodgers going into the 2010 season.

    He feels like a complete moron as he should.

    While I do believe the anti-Vince people are a little...touched, I do believe that you have to be crazy to take VY over Rodgers at this point in time.

    Now I like VY and I'm thinking he'll rise to the challenge and become a true pro-bowler, but just looking at today, you HAVE TO go with Rodgers.

    That said, Rodgers isn't available and even if he was, he wouldn't come here. Therefore, this thread is pointless and I move to officially rename it:
