in 1995 we took our franchise quarterback in steve mcnair. a fast kid with a big arm. a little bit of a project coming out of a 1-AA school and working primarily out of the shotgun.

this year we're facing the same circumstances with vince young. fast kid with a good arm who works primarily out of the shotgun. assuming we draft vince, do we go the 1996 route?

travis henry has a pricey option bonus coming up and has had off the field issues. chris brown is an unrestricted free agent after the 2006 season. do we go the eddie george route and take a brusing runningback with our first pick in the 2007 draft?

there are a few good runningbacks coming out next year. adrian peterson would be a nice early entry. michael bush from louisville is a load at 250 lbs. marhsawn lynch is pretty good too.

are we going to see a repeat of what got this team to the super in 1999?

I was just thinking about this the other day. Sounds very possible and at the pace we will have another hard year but then we eill hit some 8-8 seasons then bam we are back in it. Patience Mates we will get back.

I've had the 95/96 thing in the back of my mind the whole offseason. Glad you brought it up.
