This is a rumor nothing else
Rumor: Pekka Rinne done in Nashville after Game 7 disaster.
Agreed. He should have been benched in game 6. Guy was awful.
It’s funny because it’s not true. Ask me what I had for breakfast this morning.
Should have used the sarcasm tag, Rinne was a BEAST in game 6.
It sucks losing game 7, but there are plenty of reasons that happened and Rinne wasn't one of them. He was pulled halfway in the first period, with a 2-0 score. The final was 5-1, so I am guessing that there might have been other factors
With that said, I'm proud of the Preds and Rinne in particular for their performance this season. Although they didn't win the Stanley, they did win the President's Cup.
Good on this year and get 'em next year, Go Preds!
Dammit. You ruined my joke.
Yes he could have played better but alot of times he didn't get much help in front of him.
Pulling him after the 2 quick goals was the right thing to do. Settle him down, but he should have went back in to start the 3rd.
Go away with that nonsense. Love you in the Titans threads, but you're harshing my Preds
Who knows what will happen. He is 35 years old and has one more year on his
$ 7 million dollar contract. He will be a UFA in 2019-20 and be 37 then. He may be lucky if he has one more year left in him.
Good site to see who is an UFA or RFA has a no movement clause

If Preds are smart, they ditch Pekka. Guy has been a liability and the reason they haven't won it all 2 years in a row.
I get that fans love him because he has a silly name and has been around for forever- but cut the cord.
These are the same fans that loved Jeff Fisher too long, Eddie George too long, and Steve McNair too long. A fanbase fine with mediocrity if it's familiar.
