Oh well. Scrubs gotta go.
lol was reading on titans online and people crying about losing Preston. Someone was saying the GM needs to fired over this! Haha guess we don't overreact more than anywhere else.
Really though I have no problem at all losing Preston.
They do. That is simply the bottom line.
Groves has lots of 3-4 experience, and experience with Horton. Much better depth.
i think grand majesty posts there
Preston was only targeted 7 times last season but caught 5 of them and hauled in 2 TD's. Those aren't world beating numbers but I thought the guy flashed specially in that AZ game Hunter got himself suspended for. I guess it might be petty to cry over our 4th receiver but I liked Preston and though he could helps us this season. It is what it is I guess.
I think most of us liked Preston. At the end of the day I think we have to trust in this staff though. They've watched Preston all throughout camp and the preseason and they were comfortable letting him go.
If Preston goes somewhere and has a great season, then we can start second-guessing the decision.
Of course you're right. That's really the only way we can look at this. I guess I just saw more in him than most around here did. I definitely didn't see him as a scrub so to see people refer to him that way caught me off-guard.
It sounds like this staff isn't waiting on projects. He got his shot in preseason and didn't capitalize, just like Campbell. Thompson got his shot and impressed, I feel good about these decisions.
I was not that impressed with Thompson because he had some huge drops too. But doesn't matter much since Delanie is the starter
