I'm fairly confident if we were 10-6 we would be the 6th seed/2nd wildcard team.

San Diego is the only other team i see going 10-6. And in order for us to be 10-6 we would have to beat them in the head to head tiebreaker..

Baltimore, Houston, New York and Jacksonville I think will all be 9-7 or worse..

it would be so sick to go 10-0 to finish out...Make the playoffs, Chris Johnson wins MVP, and Vince Young wins comeback player of the year..

 

I just think the AFC is too good for an 10-6 team to get in. Wasn't the Patriots 10-6 when they missed the playoffs 2 years ago?

 

I'm hopeful, but it's still pretty doubtful. Indy and SD are two games that are gonna give us a hard time. If we beat Indy, we can start talking about 10-0 IMO, until then a more realistic goal would be 8-8, which would still be a hell of a turnaround after 2-6.

 

Pats were 11-5 when they missed the playoffs last year.

That's my most realistic prediction. I think we'll beat the Texans. I honestly think its possible for us to win out, our schedule is not very difficult at all. Colts are extremely overrated at this point in the season and the Chargers are pretty inconsistent.

 

Is it safe to say the Colts and Patriots are in? If so that would mean we're out as a division champs and could only use that 5th or 6th wild card seed to get in. And right now with 9 teams in better playoff position than us that means we not only must win 8 more, but we need the Dolphins, Jets, Bengals, Ravens, Steelers, Jaguars, Texans, Broncos & Chargers to start losing games right now. Looking into all of those teams schedules I say if we win all our remaining games and finish 10-6 we need to keep an eye on the Texans who I think will finish 9-7, and the Steelers who I figure will be 10-6. I basically want the Colts to dominate except for our rematch and to quit once they clinch the playoffs. If my calculations are correct, we'll be 10-6 beside the Steelers 10-6 to wrap up the wild cards.
