i'd be SHOCKED if lebeau stays after this year... whether mularkey stays or not. he hasn't produced what would be considered a "good" defense for us since he's been here. it's time to move on. let's find a DC that realizes that the secondary is important

but let us not forget, before this week our offense was the #5 overall. offense struggled but wasnt shut down by any means, in the 2nd half we had ****ing cassel so obviously nothing happened there.

we are 2-2 in a weak division, there is plenty of season left.

 

I expect us to bounce back next week and beat the Dolphins

The bad thing is w/ Mularkey as HC if LeBeau does retire Mularkey will find someone on the staff to replace him.....or someone he played w/ years ago. He will not hire anyone that's a threat to be an interim HC.....lol

But seriously, look at the names on our defensive staff aside from LeBeau.

• Assistant Defensive Line – Keith Willis
• Linebackers – Lou Spanos
• Defensive Backs − Deshea Townsend
• Assistant Defensive Backs – Steve Jackson
• Defensive Assistant – Brandon Blaney

Who the hell are these people? None of these guys are defensive coordinator material. Of the bunch I'd probably give the job to Spanos. UCLA's D was good under him. But I'd rather hire a 43 guy.
