    Ok you're not gonna win if the opposing team has the ball for that long no matter if you have a defense that rivals the '85 Bears.

    What the hell is wrong with this picture?

    I'm not looking for any flame-wars I just want to hear takes on this bs as far as controlling the clock.

    Defense can't get off the field, the 3rd down conversion rate by our opponents has to be absolutely outstanding. The offense struggles to keep the defense off the field as well. Who would have guess special teams would have been the best of the three facets after last year.

    We're throwing more and running less. We have 1 less possession receiver on the field now that Moss is out there.

    Said it a few times, but this team has completely lost it's identity.

    We're throwing it more because CJ can't grind 3 straight runs when we keep running him up the gut..it's all about playcalling, and our coaches have no idea how to use the players we have. We could do toss sweeps, quick outs, slants ..look at the type of plays other teams run with fast players. Do we do ANY of that? No. It's always "run straight down the field", with a TE in the flat. ALWAYS. It's pathetic.

    Can't get off the field on third down. Can't string together drives. The defense is totally gassed late and the cycle continues.

    Saw several plays yesterday where they were playing at least 15 yards off the line against Moss, and yet we never once think to call maybe a quick in or slant to get him the ball? No wonder Moss learned the entire playbook in a week - it's smaller than a Chinese takeout menu.

    Washington came into this game with the worst third down conversion pct in NFL history as pointed out on NFL Gameday. I believe it was at 22%. And yet, they somehow converted 50% against the Titans.

    having chuck cecil and not havin legarrette blount are the 2 reason i can think of...
    at times cecil and the defense look confused or just plan out witted.
    not having a bruiser to supplement cj is hurting us, imo
