1 year deal for Battle

PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT BATTLE AND GREENE ARE THE SAME TYPE OF RB. We don't need two power backs on our roster. I hope someone can tell me if I'm missing something but I think it's common sense to keep Battle and let go of Greene. I'd rather have Johnson + Battle as a tandem than Greene + Battle.

 

Oh dear God, you poor thing, Battle is good for 2 weeks of football and thats it

 

MJD is pretty much done playing in the NFL, I'd rather not pay him to get injured

 

Safety net. In case we cannot do better. Like that low self esteem girl you use as a backup in case you cannot find a better girlfriend or your girlfriend dumps you.

If something happens to Green or CJ's replacement we have Battle on the roster.

 

If Battle see's the field in September I'd be surprised.

 

hahah wasn't it Greene that only played in 11 games? Battle was healthy for all 16 and appeared in each. OOPS GOT YA THERE!

 

No you really didn't. Jackie Battle didn't have a single carry between week-7 and week-17 he went missing for 10 weeks

 

Of course. Because he is the safety net. If he does see the field it is because something bad happened.

 

YES I DID! Shonn Greene only appeared in 11 games and Battle for 16. I think Battle is more durable, and since we already signed him, I don't think we need Greene as well.
