I liked what I saw, a great improvement over the bucs game. I also like how he steps up into the pocket, he had good poise. I also Really liked how he got down or out of bounds when he scrambled. That's the smart play, avoids fumbles and injuries. Ask Vick lol. Anyways I liked his game, he missed some WRs that he should have hit, but that will come with more reps. It's a good starting point.

As for CJ, I think last night was more on the oline than him. I didn't see one good hole for him to run through, and he seemed to give the extra effort. Actually having a passing game should help CJ as Locker improves as well.

Still not bad with (part of) a pre-season game to go yet before the opener.

    Cook bailed himself out.

The pass wasn't high, it was on target. Cook just decided to do a pirouette before the catch, because he is a poor route runner. But because Cook makes up for it with the good catch, no one puts the blame on him. Watch the play again. It was a great throw and catch. Now, the throw to Nate over the middle was overthrown.

Jake was mostly solid in his second start IMO. The pass to Cook was a little high but it was still a catchable ball.Tom Brady throw a very similar pass to Wes Welker in the Super Bowl.

He really only had 4 BAD throws from what I saw; the pass behind Nate Washington (all though Nate should have caught it), the horrible over throw to Nate Washington, and two out route passes to Williams and Cook.

We will need to see improvement if we want to go head to head with Tom Brady in two weeks

I agree, I think it's a B considering the circumstances. Overall, I'm cautiously optimistic about Locker so far. VY taught me a thing or two about being very optimistic. :)

If I was grading Brady/Brees/Rodgers, that kinda performance would have earned a C at best.

CJ doenst run north and south. (yes he has had many good ones, but look at the holes he has when he does)

How long have you guys been a fan of this team again?

Go watch some highlight reels and learn who your RB is.

THeres a reason why you hear people say "bounces it to the outside" every week, many times in the NFL.

We seen glimpses of what Jake can be. Now what I would like to see if more consistency. His accuracy is what needs the most work...he's doing a good job of going through his progression, which is something you just don't see young QB's do well, very often.

I wish Palmer would open up the playbook and do more rollouts and things that Jake is best at.
Maybe he is waiting until week one to do so!

Jake's a work in progress. I went back and watched the game while watching him specifically and his footwork still comes and goes.

The ball to the left that was almost picked off he took a really wide step to the left when striding through the throw and he lost all velocity. The ball that was slightly behind Nate(still should have been a catch), he stepped directly up field instead of where he was throwing the ball.

I'm glad the Titans don't have David Carr as their back up QB...he sucked tonight vs The Bears.
