With our offensive line getting some new blood including Hutchinson and the center spot being up for grabs the line should improve this year.Hopefully this means Chris Johnson will have better success plus we finally have some talent at WR so that should open things up for CJ.

If Jared Cook plays well at TE he can definitely make things happen.Well our depth at WR is better now than it has been in many years. We will have Kenny Britt back from injury and he should make it through the season. Also Nate Washington who showed his toughness and durability.Rookie Kendall Wright is already impressing the coaches.Damian Williams should be better this season.Thats four receivers right there. Now i'm wondering does Lavelle Hawkins possibly end up getting cut. Also Marc Mariani is someone i wonder could cut be cut because its been said there is no room on the roster for a guy that only returns punts or kicks.

Both Craig Stevens and Jared Cook are solid and hoping Taylor Thompson ends up doing big things at TE.Finally looking at the QB spot its flat even between Locker and Hasselbeck. It could go either way but i'm thinking due to the rough schedule they might put Hasselbeck in to start the season.

The main thing i'm wondering about is if Chris Johnson still has his speed and if his game will be back where it was the first couple seasons when he was so dangerous. Now that the offense will open up more we will see if Johnson can still hit those holes quick and if he still has that speed to make guys miss and take long gains on the ground. Will be interesting to see how it all works out and we just might have what it takes to be one of the better offenses in the league this season.

On paper, the Titans offense can be top 10. Britt, Wright and Wash are are explosive players. Cook has shown he can be as well. We know what Hasselbeck can do.

But I'm not as strong a believer that the Titans can add a guard and move the other and things be better in the run game. I think it takes time for an OL to gel and Amano remains a huge question mark.

CJ is the wild card here. Even if the OL struggles against the run, the run game improves if he improves. The running game has to be more effective to take pressure off the passing game—especially in short-yardage situations. If you can't consistently get a first down on 3rd-and-1, you aren't going to allow your defense to rest.

Just the fact the team has been together longer means we'll be better, doesn't mean we'll do better, but the chemistry we lacked last year wont be an issue in 2012.

Harder schedule might make a good year look worse, but I expect to see more good things.

I may be a bit pessimistic, but I really don't think our offense will be as good as everyone here thinks. A few major reasons for this:

QB - Hasselbeck is pretty frail, Locker is very young. If Locker pans out, maybe next year we'll be looking good at QB.
RB - Do you really believe CJ2K will be back in form? I think he'll have a better year, but he won't be a top 3-5 RB, maybe top 12-15.
WR - Doesn't look like Britt will be able to go at the start of the season, and who knows if he'll be anywhere near 100% at all this year. Wright is rookie and still a giant question mark. Washington should do well, DWill and Hawkins aren't #2 caliber (IMO).
O-Line - Amano is still starting, Hutch is fairly old and coming off an injury.

We have major issues at pretty much every position offensively.

That being said, if Hasselbeck doesn't get hurt, CJ2K shows up, Britt gets health relatively quickly, Wright pans out and Amano gets beat out in camp. We can be great. Realistically, only half of those things will happen, so I think we'll be decent.

If CJ isn't a top 5 RB, we should cut our losses and move on. He makes way too much money to be the 12th best RB in football.

As for your assessment of Kendall Wright, up to this point he's been the best WR draft pick. Justin Blackmon and his DUI, Michael Floyd is the 4th WR in Arizona, and ole little Kendall Wright is flying under the radar (the way a rookie should) and getting nothing but praise from coaches and teammates. I'd say he's anything but a question mark.

I think Floyd may be the best out of the bunch but Wright might be something special. One of those key 3rd down receivers, consistent, clutch. All the good things you want out of a receiver but rarely seem to make the highlight reels.

I'm not saying Wright was a bad pick or will be a bad WR in the NFL by any means. All I'm saying is that for this year, his production level is a question mark. It takes rookies a while to ramp up (some faster than others, obviously). Kenny Britt took a year or two to really get going.

I don't disagree with the CJ comment either. I think we should cut our losses unless he really plays with serious fire this year and truly shines again. Paying an average RB $10m+ is severely handicapping your team. For less than that, you can get 2 decent RBs that will split the load and provide versatility.

We seem to fix one area and then have another area go bad that was good the year before.
I expect our defense to greatly improve but Hasselbeck will struggle with the Wr's.

For what we owe CJ this season ($8 million), we could have Fred Jackson ($2.21 million) + Darren McFadden ($5.65 million) and still have money left over for ice cream. We'd have another 501-yards rushing and 6 more rushing TD's.

I would be all over that trade if Chris Johnson has another horrible season.

I just dont know how you get both Buffalo and Oakland to agree to make that happen.
