Wright threw some passes at Baylor...imagine a C.J. to Wright reverse with Britt running down the field...just imagining the possibilities :D

I didn't know that, I guess I just assumed he would be plugged into RG because thats where the hole is.

Can people quit with the Cj needs to hit the hole fast.....he's one of the more patient runners in the league and had the most success being that way.

    Opening day:

    Hasselbeck
    CJ
    Britt
    Washington
    Wright
    Cook
    Hutchinson
    Harris
    Amano
    Roos
    Stewart

    Wimbley
    Morgan
    Ayers
    Mccarthy
    Witherspoon
    Casey
    Martin
    Verner
    Mccourty
    Griffin
    Babineaux

I think Hasselbeck starts the year as the starter. I really hope it's Locker though haha. I think we'll rotate a TON at WR. Britt is always the #1. Washington & Wright are most dangerous in the slot IMO. DWill is a good red zone target, he's earned the right to be out there with Britt on 2 WR sets in the red zone. Also, when ONE of Washington/Wright sit on 3 WR sets, it should be DWill on the outside as a possession receiver. Wright will obviously see some time outside due to his straight line speed.

I really hope Amano doesn't start at C but I really don't know. Maybe Amano or Velasco starts at guard with Harris at C. Maybe Vlachos impresses and surprisingly wins the job, or maybe Kevin Matthews does and Amano gets released. Not sure here.

No way Ball starts over Morgan, c'mon guys. Ball will rotate at best. I doubt Klug starts although he'll obviously rotate a lot. It's not like we really have "starters" on the DL, but I hope Martin starts with Casey as they're a better 1st down tandem to stop the run. Smith & Marks are useless.

Witherspoon will ultimately win the OLB job over McRath & Brown. But I think we'll rotate a lot here as well. Witherspoon on running downs, Brown on passing downs.

The secondary is pretty much set in stone, but the nickel spot is definitely open competition between Hawkins, Mouton & Sensabaugh.

    I see it as:

    Roos T
    Hutchinson G
    Velasco C
    Harris G
    Stewart T
    Britt WR
    Wright WR
    N.Washington WR
    Cook TE
    CJ RB
    Locker QB

    Wimbley DE
    Martin DT
    Casey DT
    Morgan DE
    Witherspoon LB
    McCarthy LB
    Ayers LB
    McCourty CB
    Alt Verner CB
    Griffin FS
    Babineaux SS

Brown will get play time. Ayers will see time at DE. Not sure who our nickle back will be... that kinda scares me.

The average nfl team ran the ball 28 times a game last year so i don't understand how blockers are no longer important in the running game and we have an OC who has never been a wide open type guy and a head coach who said he wanted to run the ball before last season. We would have run it more last year if we were not so poor at it.

Last year we had 5 people with 45 catches or more and Britt was not one of them. Washington is coming off a career year. I don't see how a rookie is going to put some of these guys on the bench. D-Will had 45 catches last year. According to most of these lists he isn't even on the team.
